Programs We Support Impact Our Community

Since 2013, the Omega Charitable Foundation of Omaha has served the community through programs that uplift, protect, and empower.

Our Signature Program

Omaha Beautillion

Founded by the Urban League of Nebraska Guild in 1977, carried forward by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Beta Upsilon Chapter, in 2008, and transitioned to the Omega Charitable Foundation of Omaha in 2013. The Beautillion serves high school senior males and celebrates the unique bond between mothers and sons. Participants raise their own funds and earn a share back as a college scholarship.

More than $45,000 earned since 2023.

Programs We Support

Before the Casket

An anti-violence program confronting young adults with the real cost of gun violence. Participants attend a mock funeral in a church and view a mirrored casket that reflects their own image looking back at them — followed by candid conversation with EMTs, law enforcement, coroners, and family members who describe how a child's or teenager's violent death changed their lives forever.

Domestic Violence Walk

Launched in 2025 in partnership with the WCA, this walk unites the community in support of survivors and advocacy for change.

Raised $3,100 in its inaugural year — funding safety, healing, and hope for survivors and their families.

Omega sQuires

Since 2009, Omega sQuires at North High School has built young men's professional, social, and leadership skills around four pillars: scholarship, fitness, service, and leadership. The program's mission is to shape well-rounded individuals, successful professionals, and community leaders.

Project Hope

In partnership with CASA for Douglas County, Project Hope supports youth entering foster care — children who often arrive with nothing but the clothes they're wearing. The program provides Hope Packs filled with hygiene and comfort essentials, offering dignity and emotional support at one of the hardest moments in a child's life.

Project Manhood & Friends

A 20+ year collaboration with Central Park Elementary School serving at-risk youth in grades 4–6, providing positive leadership, mentorship, and access to experiences participants might not otherwise have.

Purple Swipe

A hands-on lesson in generosity: Omega sQuires and Fraternity members pay for groceries and gifts for strangers at checkout, delivering immediate relief while instilling a lifelong spirit of giving in the youth involved. The program has since expanded to support identified families at partner schools.

Fraternity members have personally donated more than $20,000 over the past three years.

The W. Craig Robinson & Edward F. White Scholarships

Awarded to high school seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher, helping students pursue their higher education goals.

Awards range from $2,000–$3,000, with a program goal of at least $7,000 awarded annually.
